advertisment

This advertisement was made by a landscaping company who gets new materials every two years and has to get rid of their old tools. This year they decided to make it a charitable event and sell their old tools. This would not only appeal to any neighborhood gardener or a person looking to start his/her own landscaping company, but also anyone who is familiar with the Make-A-Wish foundation and wants to make a better life for children with cancer. The Poster is green because of the theme. It is eye catching because of the effects on the title. The words are short, sweet and simple, to the point, and well-spaced, making it easy to read. The text boxes and pictures were placed using great alignment skills, diagonally and horizontally even throughout the whole poster in order to enhance style.

flyer

This business flyer was made to show off the work of the company and to provide contact information to those interested. There is also a picture of the owner to show that this is a local owned company and that people may recognize his face. The information at the bottom is separated by two columns. One column is paragraph form to expound on what the company does. The other column is simply quick and easy to read eye catchers that are interesting because of their transformation but also it is reassuring. Customers like to hear free. The flyer is also aligned well.

yaya back

The CD cover was made for an up and coming artist. Proximity was used throughout the entire document, keeping the logo and copyright information much smaller that the major important things such as the song titles. Also on the front cover her picture is way bigger than the Album name because it is more important that people see her shining in lights than the name of her album. The front and back have consistent backgrounds using the gradient tool. The images were copied in to Photoshop to alter and then placed into InDesign. The names of the songs were written symmetrically.
